GATE cutoff is the minimum number of marks which a candidate who has given GATE should score in order to get qualified with the GATE exam. Gate cutoff also decides whether the candidate who has attended GATE should receive the scorecard or not. Every GATE candidate should score a minimum of cutoff marks in order to remain as qualified in GATE and receive the scorecard which contains the marks scored and the rank obtained along with GATE score & other details. Below are the more details about GATE cutoff 2019

GATE 2019 cutoff is more than GATE 2018 cutoff in subjects like EC, EE, and CS. GATE 2018 cutoff for computer science was 25 whereas GATE 2019 cutoff for computer science is 29.5. Similarly GATE cutoff for EC, EE in 2018 was 25, 29.1 respectively whereas GATE 2019 cutoff for EC, EE is 26.7 and 39.6 respectively. So there’s a considerable increase in the qualifying marks compared to 2018. This may be due to an increase in the demand for the GATE exam. As GATE has become an entry gate for most the public sector units, gate cutoff for PSU and also gate cutoff for IIT is getting increased day by day.
GATE cutoff 2019 for AE, AG, AR, BT, CE, CH, CS, CY, EC, EE, EY, GG, IN, MA, ME, MN, MT, PE, PH, PI, ST, TF, XE, XL, and for all these 24 papers’ official GATE cutoff for 2019 can be found below.
