GATE Exam Centres 2020 India and abroad list

As we all know that the GATE 2020 exam is organized by IIT Delhi in the month of February 2020. The GATE application procedure starts in the month of September 2019. It is very important to decide now and know where you wanted to give your Gate 2020 exam. The GATE exam is conducted in India in all the major cities and towns. Apart from India, the Gate exam is also conducted abroad, in Singapore, UAE, Srilanka, Ethiopia, Bangladesh, and Nepal. While filling your online application you can select any three cities of your choice. The first two cities should be of your GATE zone and the third city can be from any GATE zone. Most of the times will you get your desired exam city i.e., the first choice will be given more preference.

Code of conduct at Gate Exam centres 2020

All the candidates appearing for GATE 2020 Examination must comply strictly with the following Rules and Regulations:

• Candidates appearing for GATE 2020 examination must carry Admit Card and original valid photo-identity proof inside the examination hall.
• Scribble pads will be provided to the candidates in the examination hall by the invigilators. The same should be used for all rough work. Candidates should write their name and registration number on the scribble pads. The scribble pads must be returned to the invigilators after the end of the examination.
• Carrying mobile phones (even in the switched-off mode), wristwatches and calculators inside the examination hall is strictly prohibited.
• Carrying of any other electronic devices that can be used for communication or for any other purpose, and printed or hand-written textual materials, inside the examination hall is strictly prohibited.
• All means of communication (verbal or otherwise) among the candidates inside the examination hall are strictly prohibited.
• Candidates should not tamper with the computer and the related hardware provided in the examination hall. Candidates found to have tampered with these willfully will have their candidature cancelled summarily. In addition to this, appropriate legal action will be initiated against such candidates.
